The concept for a Day Centre was at the very heart of the Daisy Chain vision given to our founder Lesley Hanson. In tribute to her, and her family, we have decided to make sure her memory is forever attached to the project.
As you can see from the artist’s impression, we have no intention of building anything less than a state-of-the-art facility that will be a valuable resource for all the community.
It’s what Lesley would have insisted upon, and what our families deserve.
But we’re going to need a lot of help from a lot of people to make this part of the dream come true!
There will be a sensory soft play area, I.T. suite, area for arts and crafts and conference facilities. It will be available to any social or community group, school body and professional organisation to access.
But dreams like this don’t come cheap. The Centre comes with a half-a-million pound price tag!
We have secured funding to cover most of that, but we’re going to need a lot of help to raise the last £100,000. That’s where you come in!
We need you to help us buy the bricks. Everyone who does will have the chance to make sure their name is forever part of the centre.
