Social Groups
Daisy Chain runs a number of Social groups and Youth clubs for young people aged from 5 to 18, to cater for the differing ages and needs of young people with an Autism Spectrum Condition.
Some sessions are highly structured and have a high staff to young person ratio. They provide opportunities for interactions between young people with an ASC and friendships are encouraged. Staff help the young people to make choices using visual aids and support development of their social skills.
Other sessions are less structured and are more suitable for young people who require less support.
Places are limited and young people must have a diagnosis of an ASC. Please contact a member of the Care Team on 01642 531 248 if you would like more information and to find out which club would be the most suitable for your child.
Some of these clubs are funded by Stockton's Early Intervention Grant
