Daisy Chain has been presented with a cheque for over £1800 from Eaglescliffe Golf Club.
Eaglescliffe Golf Club held a charity golf day, raffle and various other activities and have successfully raised funds for both Daisy Chain and Marie Curie throughout 2011 – 2012.
Ken Machin, Eaglescliffe Golf Club Captain 2011-2012, said: “ We have known about Daisy Chain for some years and we value the work that the charity does with families in the Tees Valley affected by autism. We had an excellent time at the golf day and it is wonderful to be in a position to presented Daisy Chain with this donation.”
Matt Simpson, Chief Executive of Daisy Chain, said: “ We are incredible grateful for the generous donation from Eaglescliffe Golf Club. Daisy Chain has been built and continues to runs entirely through the support of individual donations and support from local community groups and businesses. We are always touched by the generosity of our supporters.”
Daisy Chain is a haven for families affected by autism in the Tees Valley. Daisy Chain provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family. We believe that Daisy Chain makes a demonstrable, significant and sustainable difference to the lives of the hundreds families across the Tees Valley.
