Abbey Big on Daisy Chain!

One of the country's leading financial services companies has given Daisy Chain it's largest donation on Teesside!

Under it's Charitable Trust priorities Abbey provides funding to various projects that support disadvantaged people. Janet Watkins is Chair of the body which had to assess the Daisy Chain bid for a grant.

She visited our home at Calf Fallow Farm and approved our application. She said; "I was impressed by the work being done and, particularly, the warm and friendly environment. The setting is fantastic and accessible to a great number of people in the Tees Valley. The passion and enthusiasm of Matt Simpson, the Project Manager, won me over in seconds."

Janet's recommendation led to a cheque for £14,500 which has enabled us to buy interactive whiteboards, computers, software and printers for the new Day Care Centre which we hope to build this year.
