What we do During school holidays Family Trip to Beamish Museum Join us for a Family Day Out to Beamish Museum for our families affected by autism. Beamish is a world famous open air museum telling the story of life in North East England in the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s. There’s lots to explore you can watch traditional businesses at work such as sweet making, ride the old tram, visit the mine and even have a go with traditional toys and clothing yourself. Transport: The coach will leave Daisy Chain in Norton at 9:15 am and return to Daisy Chain at approximately at 5.20pm. Cost: £5 per person (entry and coach) To enable as many families as possible to benefit from the trip, bookings are restricted to children with an ASD diagnosis or undergoing diagnosis, and their immediate families.
