As Daisy Chain’s Data Protection Officer, following on from Katy’s blog post about GDPR I thought that now would be a good time to give our families and supporters and update on where we are up to with the new regulations.
GDPR has been in place for almost 4 months now and we have and continue to take it very seriously. It’s a massive learning curve to us all but we are determined to be as transparent and forthright with everyone about what personal data we collect, when we collect it, why we collect it and how long we will keep it for.
As an organisation, we all want to make sure that your personal data is safe and secure. A lot of time and effort goes in making sure that our systems, policies and procedures are as robust as possible to protect your information.
