Where would we be without the many, many volunteers who come along to help out – often as part of Corporate Volunteering Days run by various companies?
Having a 5.5 acre site which allows us to offer a variety of services and activities to our families affected by autism is amazing. It also takes a lot of work to develop and maintain, which is why support from local companies by sending volunteers over to help with tasks around site is so valuable to us.
We love welcoming these groups to Daisy Chain – they donate their time and skills to help us in a variety of areas, such as painting fences, fixing animal pens, weeding the gardens, cleaning the soft play, helping with the ongoing developments on site, sorting donated items at our Superstore on Portrack Lane – the list of tasks is endless!
