Links Parent Support Group / Thursday / Weekly

Links Parent Support Group is an opportunity for parents/carers of autistic and neurodivergent children to connect with each other and get advice from the Daisy Chain team.

This group is suitable for you if you have a child who is diagnosed / going through the diagnostic process / has been identified by a professional as having a need relating to: autism, ADHD, FASD, Sensory processing differences, anxiety and social and communication differences. The name ‘Links‘ represents the links we aim to create between peers, Daisy Chain and wider organisations.

• 10am – 12pm
• The group is free to attend
• Booking is essential
• Links is for parents/carers only, there is no creche facility available.
• Meet each Thursday during term time at Daisy Chain’s main site in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees.
• Each session is themed, giving parents/carers the opportunity to learn more from our friendly, experienced team.

As part of Links Parent Support Group, we offer the Autism Central programme. Autism Central offers families and carers of autistic people high-quality and easily accessible autism education, training, and support through peer educators, alongside a dedicated website. Peer educators are autistic people, and parents and carers of autistic people, who have been trained to support other families. Daisy Chain Project hub is delivering Autism Central in the North East & Yorkshire NHS England region. www.autismcentral.org.uk
