IIP AwardDaisy Chain was awarded Investors in People accreditation in February 2016. The announcement came after a three-day assessment at Calf Fallow Farm, the home of the charity in Norton, Stockton.

Judith Haysmore, chief executive, was delighted to hear the news: “I think it reflects so well on everybody here and pays tribute to the hard work they put in to make Daisy Chain such a special place, for those who work here as well as those who rely on our services.”

To mark the occasion Chief Executive, Judith Haysmore, and patron Anna Kennedy OBE received the certificate, which acknowledges the award, during a visit to Daisy Chain at the weekend (Saturday 13th February).

The bid to secure accreditation was made possible by a donation from Tees Valley Foundation that covered the cost of the assessment. The chief executive Hugh McGouran said: “We were delighted to be able to help really professional and capable organisations like Daisy Chain through our ‘Intelligent Investment Programme.’ We are so pleased that Daisy Chain secured accreditation and that we played a part in this process. We look forward to working with the charity again in the future.”
