Teesside-based charity, Daisy Chain is teaming up with Anna Kennedy OBE to shine a spotlight on autism talent as the Autism’s Got Talent Roadshow rolls into town on Saturday 20th May 2023!
Held at The Globe in Stockton-on-Tees, the spectacular event is the only one of its kind in the UK and promises exceptional performances from autistic children and adults, with varying talents from singers and actors to musicians, and comedians. The show flies the flag for autism and showcases what autistic individuals are capable of.
CEO Neeraj Sharma said: “We are so excited to be bringing the Autism’s Got Talent Roadshow back to Teesside. The show means that autistic performers, some of whom may never have had an opportunity to showcase their talent, have a platform to shine.
“Autistic young people and adults face so many barriers already, and as an organisation, we work hard to provide opportunities wherever possible. We can’t wait for what is sure to be an amazing night.”
Anna Kennedy OBE said: “We aim to continue to build Autism’s Got Talent year by year and we want all those involved to have fun, do what they love, make friends and be themselves! This is one night which is all about them.”
Autism charity Anna Kennedy Online hosts Autism’s Got Talent every year in London, and has done for the last 12 years. In 2023 it will be bringing its Autism’s Got Talent Roadshow to the North East for the third time, in association with Daisy Chain.
The show’s concept encourages inclusion and celebration, and has previously been supported by celebrities including Katie and Harvey Price, Dame Esther Rantzan, Kacey Ainsworth and many more.
