Daisy Chain has announced to families this week that its services will be changing to be able to support more families affected by autism.

After the Easter holidays, social clubs will be running fortnightly rather than weekly due to very high demand for this service and long waiting lists.

From 1st April, Activity Days will be bookable to regulate numbers and ensure a relaxed environment for everyone attending.

Judith Haysmore, Daisy Chain Chief Executive says:

“Due to the increased demand for our services some families have been waiting to access our social clubs for a significant amount of time. By adapting our services we will be able to support more families and provide an enjoyable experience for everyone.”

Daisy Chain is currently supporting 1841 families in the Tees Valley area with 248 new families accessing its services in 2016.
