Alison Tasker has recently retired from her role as Deputy Head teacher responsible for inclusion and the teacher in charge of the ASD Hub (Enhanced Mainstream Provision). This was a role that she loved and gave her the opportunity to work with amazing staff, parents and children to improve the outcomes for children on the autism spectrum.
In May 2017, she was given the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Hero award for her work with children with autism, their parents and for her fundraising efforts. The monies raised were used to develop the outdoor learning environment at the school.
She is looking forward to using her professional skills and working with the other trustees to contribute to the further development of Daisy Chain.
Alison enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends, walking and exploring new places.
