We have made strong community links with a variety of businesses and charities in the local area to enable us to offer our students a supported work placement, in line with their interests, strengths and career goals.
Regular meetings ensure good communication, autism specific support available to both the placement and the provider, and a forum to discuss any issues as they occur. Adults with autism/undergoing the diagnostic process are given the opportunity to experience working life and show potential employers the skills that someone with autism can bring to a workplace.

If you are an employer who would be interested in supporting a work placement student, you can download our information booklet here.
