You will learn about the purpose of social stories, identifying issues to write social stories for, and how to write and implement social stories which are unique to the individual. This is a great interactive session, with lots of examples as social stories can really help autistic children and young people to learn new skills, adapt their behaviours, understand instructions or scenarios, take on board information from another person’s perspective, and prepare for transitions or change.
