Post Title: Training Uptake Administrator

Location: Daisy Chain, Norton

Salary: £18,500.00            

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for increasing the uptake of Daisy Chain’s different training packages by coordinating the administration, promotion and evaluation of Daisy Chain’s training programmes. The post holder will also support with other administrative tasks for the organisation as required.

Key Tasks

  • Work with the training team to increase the uptake of Daisy Chain’s different training packages by developing and executing and effective marketing and sales strategy.
  • Act as a first point of contact for any enquiries about training and handle all parts of the booking process including invoicing
  • Co-ordinate the training dairy
  • Support with the delivery of training including in the preparation and circulation of training materials, the booking and setting up of virtual and face to face sessions and from time to time in the direct delivery of training.
  • Coordinate the recording and evaluation of all training programmes and produce regular reports on training activity for the Training Manager and Senior Leadership Team. 
  • The post holder will be responsible for taking activity day bookings and payments and add details onto relevant documents.
  • Undertake general administration duties including but not limited to taking notes in meetings and assisting with presentations.
  • The post holder will provide reception cover during lunch periods and holidays.

  • A good track record in sales and/or marketing-E&A
  • Proven experience in an administrative role -E&A
  • Experience working with and/or supporting autistic children/young people and/or adults-D&A
  • Experience in training delivery/promotion-D&A      


  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. marketing or sales)-E&A
  • Autism Awareness Level 2-D&A     

Knowledge and Skills

  • IT literate and proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)-E,A&T
  • Proficient in the use of a Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS)-E&A
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-E,A&I
  • Ability to speak confidently in public and to a variety of audiences-E,A,I &T


  • Confident and pleasant telephone manner-E&I
  • Highly organised with a “can-do” proactive attitude-E&I
  • Ability to work flexibly to cope with the varying demands of the role-E&I
