Retail Shop Assistant – Gateshead
You will bring your experience, energy, and enthusiasm to the role of supporting the Assistant Store Manager with the day-to-day retail activities of the shop. As part of a dynamic team you will help drive sales, and support shop operations. Retail experience, excellent customer service, and strong organisational skills are all essential requirements for this role.
Van Driver
To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Daisy Chain van and its use for collecting donations and delivering sold items. The post-holder will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff and volunteers travelling in the van, maintenance of the van and cost-effective route planning as well as outstanding customer service. Based in Stockton, involves travel up to Gateshead.
Games Master
The post holder will encourage, inspire and support the personal and social development of autistic adults through the delivery of games-based activities (e.g. boards games, Dungeons and Dragons). Due to the nature of this role the post holder will be required to work during the evening.
Performing Arts Support Worker
Working as part of a small team, the post holder will support in the delivery of performing arts clubs and activities to autistic and neurodivergent children and young people using performing arts as a medium to work towards increased self-confidence, improved communication skills and boost social interactions.
Finance Officer
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the post holder will be responsible for all delegated accounting Procedures within Daisy Chain and to ensure they are maintained in accordance with statutory charity Commission requirements accounting and processing rules and regulations.
Autism Session Lead
Working either independently or collaboratively with other sessions leads they will prepare and deliver bespoke and personalised programmes of work to increase social, personal and educational development.
Community Empowerment Session Lead
You will play a key role in reducing loneliness and isolation for autistic and neurodivergent adults through the delivery of engaging and impactful social groups, designed to enhance independence, generate friendships, and increase community engagement.
Head Of Finance
You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s mission and objectives. This role also involves making financial recommendations, supporting budgetary responsibilities, presenting reports, conducting feasibility studies for business development, and management of a small team.
Garment Creator
The post holder will be an integral part of our community ‘Redress’ enterprise initiative. Under the brand name Neuthread they will be responsible for the transformation of damaged donated textiles into re-saleable, one of a kind pieces.
With support from the Production Lead and the Neuthread Design Team, the post holder will utilise a range of technical skills within pattern cutting and garment construction in order to produce seasonal, on trend upcycled clothing.
Trainee Welfare and Benefits Advisor
The post holder will play a key role in reducing inequalities for autistic individuals by empowering clients to access financial support, income maximisation, and economic wellbeing and full training in the role will be provided.
Once trained you will advise and assist autistic and neurodivergent young people and adults aged 15+ with welfare and benefit related issues, including full benefit checks, advising on potential claims, completing application forms, taking action on our clients’ behalf, and liaising with statutory agencies. This will be accessible, specialist, and outcome-focused welfare and benefits advice.

Complex Needs Keyworker
With the support of the Senior Complex Needs Keyworker the post holder will work within a small team to provide training, advocacy and support to children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism and their families. The post holder will work intensively with Children and Adults up to the age of 25 years who are identified as at risk of admission or placement breakdown, and will also address any gaps in support experienced.
