Our Adult Group is for young adults aged 18-30 with a diagnosis of autism.

The group is relaxed and informal, meeting each Monday during term time, with additional meetings over the school holidays. The members also participate in planned group outings of their choosing, such as bowling, visiting a local pub or trampolining sessions, to name a few!

The group is a great opportunity for our members to make new friends and socialise with other adults in a supportive environment. The group is fun and friendly and allows members to take part in a variety of activities, share their interests with others or just hang out with friends.

When: Every Monday during term time 6.30pm-8.30pm, with additional dates throughout the holidays.

Cost: £10 per session

Chill & Chat

Our Chill and Chat club provides an opportunity to have fun, make friends and engage in peer support in a calm and friendly environment.

The group is relaxed and informal – with some members choosing to take part in activities such as cooking, quizzes, or board games while others simply enjoy spending time chatting to friends.

Club members have access to rooms indoors as well as our beautiful outdoor space.

This is a medium sized club with a maximum of 15 places per group.

Autistic adults aged between 18-30.

If you are aged 30+ please still get in touch and we will be happy to discuss options with you.

You can access this service if you:

  • Have a diagnosis of autism
  • Are undergoing diagnosis
  • Experience autistic traits and identify as autistic but without a formal diagnosis

To access this club, you must be able to engage safely and independently with other adults as part of moderately sized group.

Support takes place at our Day Centre in Norton, Stockton on Tees, TS20 1PF.

Tuesday evenings (6:30 – 8:30pm)

Currently this club is term-time only, however, we do run pop up adult clubs during holiday periods.

The club costs £10 per session.

Payments are made in advance blocks of 6-weeks.

  • We can offer you a free taster session.
  • This is a popular club, and a waiting list is in operation.
  • Once your place has been confirmed, it will be guaranteed for one year.
  • After one year, you may be able re-enrol in the club depending on the waiting list.

Community Connect

Our Community Connect club provides an opportunity to have fun, make friends and build confidence in community settings, with support from Daisy Chain staff.

The activities selected are guided by the club members, but may include things such as:

  • Cinema
  • Walks
  • Coffee shop
  • Pub
  • Going for a meal
  • Bowling
  • Jump 360

 

The group is relaxed, informal and supportive. Staff will work with you to develop your confidence and empower you with the skills and confidence needed to socialise safely and independently in external settings.

This is a small club with a maximum of 8 places per group.

Autistic adults aged between 18-30.

Sessions take place at various locations depending on the activities chosen by club members.

Daisy Chain cannot provide transport to and from the activities.

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Immerse yourself in a world of mystery, magic, and adventure with a small group of fellow D&D enthusiasts. Join forces to vanquish common foes, unearth legendry treasures and achieve victory!

Our Dungeons and Dragons club offers the opportunity to connect with others, build confidence and boost your wellbeing through the structure of this popular role-playing game.

This is a small club with a maximum of 8 places per group.

Beginners are welcome.

Autistic adults aged between 18-30.

Beginners are welcome – no previous D&D experience is necessary.

If you are aged 30+ please still get in touch and we will be happy to discuss options with you.

You can access this service if you:

  • Have a diagnosis of autism
  • Are undergoing diagnosis
  • Experience autistic traits and identify as autistic but without a formal diagnosis

To access this club, you must be able to engage safely with other adults as part of a small group.

Support takes place at our Day Centre in Norton, Stockton on Tees, TS20 1PF.

Thursday evenings (6:30 – 8:30pm)

Currently this club it term-time only, however, we do run pop up adult clubs during holiday periods.

The club runs on a 12-week rolling programme. You may be able to re-enrol into the club after the 12 weeks, depending on the waiting list.

The club costs £10 per session.

Payments are made in advance blocks of 6-weeks.
